RATES & INSURANCE

At New Wave Counseling, we offer supportive, personalized therapy for individuals, couples, and families. Session rates are:

  • $250 for intake appointments

  • $200 for individual sessions

  • $225 for couples or family sessions

 

We accept several major insurance plans including:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS)

  • Aetna

  • Cigna

  • United Healthcare

  • VACCN

 

Coverage and benefits vary by provider, so please contact your insurance company to verify how your plan covers mental health services.

Payments can be made by cash or credit card at the time of your session.

 

If you need to cancel, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee.

ADDICTION support

TRAUMA/emdr therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy is a powerful, research-backed approach for treating trauma and distressing life experiences. Using gentle bilateral stimulation—often through guided eye movements—EMDR helps the brain reprocess stuck or painful memories, reducing emotional intensity and fostering healing.
